I continue to work on river confluences, meandering rivers, human impacts on river systems, and stream naturalization and management. My approach to research tends to focus on process-oriented field studies of fluvial dynamics, but through collaborations with others, I also participate in studies with strong modeling, experimental, or sedimentological components.
